HIS Mess!

Wednesday, May 16, 2012

Seems like that's what we spend a lot of time doing in our crazy days. So I thought it would be a good subject to start blogging about. Our weekly out to eats! This has been a crazy busy past couple of weeks. AHHHH who am I kidding, more like a crazy few months!! Needless to say, it leave me little to no time to grocery shop or cook. But man, can I pick some great places to eat! Let me just start with a few from the past few week. Far warning, we will be back to some of the same places over and over again, but maybe I'll try something new?!? We will see!
Rib Crib was good. The girls were treated to a hot fudge brownie sundae.

One of my favorite places to eat is Freebirds. On Tuesdays I get a free quaso for Tattoosday!!

And the place we go every day, J&B Coffee.

happy eating out! xoxo, Becky

Pray For Ian

This week has been kind of a hard week. I just wish I would have read this post last week  so that I would have been reminded of...well just reminded of how I should act... please take a little bit and read this post from one of the other blogs I follow.

Happy MLK Day

One interesting fact about MLK...
In 1954, Martin Luther King became pastor of the Dexter Avenue Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabamahttp://www.nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/peace/laureates/1964/king-bio.html

What a day for a school vacation. The wind has been gusting at between 25-40 mph.

Needless to say there are not many people out at the park today. My girls, they don't really care. They have spent almost the whole day outside.  Eli and I tried to join them for a little while, but its no fun to be out there.

The boys decided to stay inside all day. Blake had a friend over so they played video games.

Brock spent the afternoon on his Kindle Fire. He has to go to work at 6 tonight so he will enjoy the wind while at work!

Doing things inside would be the best idea for today. The yogurt shoppe is calling my name!
Have a great week everyone!

happy sunday

I finished my room! I actually finished it last week, but it was the first week back at school and back to the same crazy days so I didn't have a chance to post until today!

Moved the bed to show off the windows!
Hid the baby bed.

New love- vintage mirrors. The top one was my Granny Dots.

Dresser moved to the other wall.
TV center that was in the living room made for a great way to hide my mess of clothes.

I feel so...I can't even explain how I feel. My room had been a mess for so long and guess what...I only spent $7 on a new laundry basket. Well under the $50 budget I wanted to stay under!

Just a little something extra, looks like someone has been playing with mommy's camera again! Love you Mini-K!

A mess!

I love the character of old houses. I love my huge windows. I love having the kids schools with-in walking distance. The park is right across the street. The boys don't have to share a room. The girls are a little cramped, but they have great windows too. Its cute!

But my room is out of hand! Only thing I do is sleep there and hide stuff in there. If I cant find somewhere to put something I just stick it in my room and close the door. Its time to get a handle on it. But where to start and how will I ever fit it all in this little space? This will be my project for the next few days...

My bedroom is pretty small. I have a queen sized bed, a dresser (had it at a child) a chest of drawers, a cedar chest, end table and a Great Dane house!

This is my work t-shirts and a few other things...

And this is the only closet I have and YES, it is as small as it looks... Not sure how I will make this work, but I will give it a try!Wish me luck!
I hope my budget of $50 will get it done!

Happy New Year

I am not much of a going out kind of girl anymore. I did enough of that when I was younger. Now, I would just as soon stay in with my kids where it is safe. No drunk drivers in the house (I hope)! Although I have seen some houses that has happened to! I'm not saying that I would not enjoy the company of a few friends to talk to and laugh with, but when you have kids its just a little hard to get out of the house. I just wanted to share a few pictures and just things we did from the past year...FYI we were busy so there was always something going on.
